To provide inputs and guide design engineers for Manufacturing Feasibility (DFM) of designed components and sub-assemblies.

To lead component cost estimation and alter designs to get optimum cost parts, the right fit for purpose.

To develop components (Press, Molded, Forged, Machined & ASSY’s) as per Product Development System (APQP/PPAP) while ensuring right quality at right time with right cost.

Create documentation (PFC, PFMEA, Control Plans, SOP, Process Capability and SAP Documentation like MM, BOM, Routing, Product Costing).

Guide design engineers in the engineering department to build the right proto samples effectively. Help and assist them in designing the right proto samples.

To do overall process planning, capacity planning, assembly line layout and test set-up planning considering annual volumes.

To support cost reduction and quality improvement projects of existing projects (Product Life Cycle Management)

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering

20+ years of experience in relevant department in Manufacturing Industry

Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes/industry practices

Strong knowledge about lean production principles, material flow optimization and continuous Improvement processes/VALUE ENGINEERING

Project management experience and leadership skills

Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Must work well under pressure in international and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines

Good knowledge of GD&T

Ability to lead and guide teams

Self-starter and quick learner

Critical thinker

Analytical skill

Excellent collaborator and team player
